Sausage Stuffing Recipe
1 Loaf of White Bread
1 LB of Ground Sausage
5 OZ of Diced Onions
8 OZ of Chopped Celery
5 OZ of Chopped Carrots
3 Beaten Eggs
1 Cup of Chicken Broth
1.5 Spatula Corner Scoops of Butter
Tear 1 loaf of white bread to pieces with hands. Place bread in casserole dish and leave sitting out overnight to dry.
Fry ground sausage with onions. Crumble into small pieces. Brown sausage and onions.
Clean and chop carrots and celery. Add the carrots and celery to pan, plus 1.5 spatula corners of butter, and cook until carrots soften.
Beat eggs and pour over bread. Add sausage / onions, carrots / celery, to bread. Douse bread with 1 cup of chicken broth. Mix and flatten. Make sure ingredients are evenly distributed.
Cover the stuffing with foil. Place in oven preheated to 350°F for 45 minutes. Remove foil for last 15 minutes to brown.
