Dog Shoes
Dog shoes: Are they just for fashion? Or do they help our furry friends find freedom?
When I go outside I wear shoes to protect and support my feet. When I come inside I take my shoes off because I don’t wanna track stuff in. Things like trash, feces, yadda yadda yadda. Dogs deserve the same protections.
Plus, dogs can now participate in America’s finest freedom: Capitalism. The shoes are only the beginning. When dogs are running around and rolling around on the ground they’ll need some clothes to keep them from getting too dirty. Plus, they’ll need a little dresser to put all of their clothes in. And they’ll need some tchotchkes to decorate the top of their dresser.
You could just wipe off your dog’s feet with paper towels or wet wipes. However, that can get expensive and wasteful. Instead, by wearing shoes dogs can help fight for a greener tomorrow.
The trick is, like cigarettes, you gotta hook them while they’re young. Teach the dog when they’re a puppy to wear little dog shoes when they go out and they’ll get used to it.
Some folks will say, “Hey! Your dog is wearing shoes. And clothing. I like it.” And others will say, “Hey! Why is your dog wearing shoes? And clothing? I don’t like it.” And maybe some will say, “Who cares? I’m late for lunch with Kevin from marketing.”
Whatever anyone says, you’ll at least know that your dog is comfortable and free.
