Arches National Park, Utah

We set off from Baltimore, MD heading for Burbank, CA. We’re part of the Ace of Cakes crew that’s documenting the delivery of several cakes to the Price is Right, which is celebrating an anniversary. We only have a few days to get there, so we need to budget our time.

We drive all day and night until we arrive in Keystone, CO. A quick night’s sleep.

The next morning we’re back at it, racing to Arches National Park, UT for some time off.

After several hours, I see up ahead one of the naturally forming sandstone arches. We park and split up to explore.

I climb up to a crevice and survey the ancient red rocks resting before me. I focus my camera on an arch in the distance and use the crevice as a frame. I snap the photo.
